Since setting up this page I notice the MP for Melton Mowbray has made the name of pork pie famous as being part of and hence giving the name to the “pork pie plot “to oust PM Johnson.
My grandparents took over this bake house after Edward Adcock retired. They were the original Melton Mowbray pork pie makers (once removed) Their skills kept alive the recipe and recently the Melton Mowbray pork pie has been granted European Protected status just like Champagne! But for how long can this status be maintained now we have opted for Brexit.
