My grandparents took over this bake house after Edward Adcock retired. They were the original Melton Mowbray pork pie makers (once removed) Their skills kept alive the recipe and recently the Melton Mowbray pork pie has been granted European Protected status just like Champagne! But for how long can this status be maintained now we have opted for Brexit.
Alas our family no longer make Melton Mowbray pork pies but if we did I think they would be well liked
