My grandparents took over the original Melton Mowbray pork pie bakery from Edward Adcock. 

 It is amazing to realise ones grandparents are mentioned in a history book about the famous pie. It was long after the Sharp’s gave up the connection that the pie got European protective status which is on a par with Champagne.
